Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using OrgBolt (“the Service”), operated by OrgBolt, LLC (“OrgBolt,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

OrgBolt is an AI-powered Salesforce change management platform. Users describe changes in natural language, and OrgBolt validates them against the live Salesforce org and generates implementation artifacts (metadata XML, Apex code, configuration changes).

Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • One person or automated agent may not maintain more than one account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Subscription and Billing

  • The Service is offered on a monthly subscription basis.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the billing period.
  • Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Your continued use after the price change constitutes acceptance.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support for refund requests.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Abuse, harass, or exploit the AI systems (prompt injection, jailbreaking)
  • Bypass security measures, rate limits, or access controls
  • Use the Service to develop a competing product
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code through the Service
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties

Salesforce Integration

  • You authorize OrgBolt to connect to your Salesforce org via OAuth.
  • You are solely responsible for the Salesforce orgs you connect and the changes deployed to them.
  • OrgBolt is not liable for any changes made to your Salesforce org, including data loss, configuration errors, or deployment failures.
  • You must have appropriate permissions in your Salesforce org to authorize the connection.
  • You may disconnect your Salesforce org at any time.

AI-Generated Content

OrgBolt uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to generate Salesforce metadata, code, and configuration recommendations. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • No guarantee of correctness. AI-generated outputs may contain errors, incomplete implementations, or recommendations unsuitable for your org.
  • Human review required. You must review all AI-generated content before deploying it to any Salesforce environment.
  • Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for validating and deploying any changes to your Salesforce org.
  • Not professional advice. AI outputs do not constitute professional Salesforce consulting, legal, or compliance advice.

Intellectual Property

  • Your data. You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service, including task descriptions, chat messages, and Salesforce metadata.
  • AI outputs. AI-generated content (metadata XML, Apex code, configurations) is licensed to you for use in your Salesforce org without restriction.
  • The platform. OrgBolt, its design, code, branding, and documentation are owned by OrgBolt and protected by intellectual property laws.

Data Handling

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORGBOLT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO ORGBOLT IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OrgBolt from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from: (a) your use of the Service, (b) changes deployed to your Salesforce org via the Service, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account.
  • Upon deletion, we follow our data retention policy: immediate Salesforce token revocation, 30-day grace period for data recovery, then permanent deletion.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, with notice where practicable.
  • Sections on Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law survive termination.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Virginia.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
